a study of peonies

Last week, I stopped by my favorite florist, Opalia in Brooklyn, to pick up flowers for my latest photography project. I wanted to take still life photos of flowers on a black backdrop which is something I've never done before. I was so happy to see that they had my favorite flowers, Peonies, in stock. I waited a few days for them to open, setup a little studio in the aparmtment (which was also a first!) and took photos. Here are a few of my favorite. Enjoy!
